On December 14, 2024, LBRDC marked the opening of the LBRDC Laundry Area Project, a community-focused initiative within the Economic Zone. Led by President and CEO Col. Ricardo C. Juliano, alongside LBRDC employees and the Economic Zone Department (EZDM), the launch included a blessing ceremony conducted by Fr. Randy Albor, followed by a ribbon-cutting event.
Designed to provide workers with accessible and affordable laundry services, this project underscores LBRDC’s dedication to improving the quality of life within the SEZ. By offering practical solutions for daily needs, LBRDC continues to strengthen its role as a community partner.
Gender and development Comfort Room Project
TURN-OVER CEREMONY AND RIBBON CUTTING OF GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT COMFORT ROOM FACILITY at Luis Palad Integrated High School, Tayabas City, Quezon The LBP Resources and Development Corporation (LBRDC) formally turned over a newly constructed Gender and Development (GAD) Comfort Room Facility to Luis Palad Integrated High School (LPIHS) located at Tayabas City, Quezon Province last September 10, 2025 through a ceremonial program and ribbon cutting held at the school grounds. The event was graced by LBRDC officials led by Chairman Lt Gen Antonio Ramon A Lim PAF (RET), President and CEO Col Ricardo C Juliano CPA PA (MNSA) (RES), and Board Members Abner O. Malabanan and Paulo Miguel V. Teodoro. The program began with a short gathering at the school’s Multi-Purpose Hall hosted by Ms. Raymond Hugo (Teacher IV) Adopt-a-School Coordinator, followed by a welcome message delivered by the Dr. Geraldine M. Constantino Assistant Principal of LPIHS. A Deed of Donation and Acceptance was formally signed by President and CEO Ricardo C. Juliano on behalf of LBRDC, Director Abner Malabanan as SGC Elected Chairperson and Ms. Racel J. Romero, Administrative Officer IV on behalf of LPIHS, symbolizing the official turnover of the facility. In his message, Chairman Lim extended his gratitude to all individuals and partners who contributed to the success of the project, highlighting the importance of gender-responsive infrastructure in promoting inclusivity, health, and well-being among students and staff. The ceremony was also attended by School Parents and Teachers Association (SPTA) Officers, Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG) representatives, Samahan ng mga Guro at Kawani (SGK) President, and other school officials. Representing the City Mayor was Councilor Ana R. Obispo, together with SK Chairperson Ren Miguel S. Obdianela, further underscoring the strong community support for the initiative. The turnover of the GAD Comfort Room Facility stands as a testament to LBRDC’s commitment to supporting education, inclusivity, and gender-responsive development through meaningful partnerships with local institutions.
